Note:
1.The location of the tachometer and level gauge should be chosen as far as possible in the area where the channel or river is relatively straight, try to avoid the gate, the curve, the inlet/outlet, and the up and down ramp, and the length of the straight channel should be a certain length. The length of the upper and lower reaches of the straight canal is preferably greater than 10 times the width of the canal, so that the distribution of the water at the measurement end will be relatively stable and uniform, and the measurement data will be more accurate.
2.The flow velocity sensor is installed on the side wall of the channel (if there is no siltation problem, it is installed on the bottom of the channel). The upper and lower positions are preferably at 60% of the water depth. The direction sign points to the downstream of the water flow, ensuring that the flow velocity sensor is parallel to the flow axis. The installation point of the liquid level gauge should be as close as possible to the installation position of the flow velocity sensor. The installation of the liquid level gauge should be perpendicular to the water surface. The distance from the plane of the ultrasonic level gauge to the bottom of the channel should be the same as the range of the liquid level gauge.
